Do I need to register a power of attorney in Victoria?

There is no process, or requirement, for registration of a Power of Attorney in Victoria.

This is unusual because in all states and territories of Australia, other than Victoria, you must register a power of attorney with the relevant Land Titles Office if you seek to rely on it for a transaction involving real estate.
